At the Plytje in Leer, a diverse mix of athletic activities, swimming fun, and relaxation awaits you. As a Hansefit member, you can explore the pool and easily take advantage of many offerings.
Your Hansefit benefits at a glance
Free admission: During public hours, you can visit the Plytje once a day with Hansefit.
Included classes: AquaCycling Sunrise, Morning Pilates, Pietje’s Splash Friends, Baby Sauna, and water familiarization in the wading pool are included in your Hansefit membership.
No advance registration required: You don’t need to sign up in advance for the Hansefit classes listed above. Just stop by on the day of the class!

Swimming Fun for All Ages
Whether you’re looking for a challenging workout or just want to relax in the water—there’s something for everyone at Plytje! The 25-meter lap pool, featuring a variable-depth floor and a three-meter-high diving tower, offers the perfect conditions for swimming and training. A separate class pool rounds out the offerings for a variety of water, fitness, and sports classes.
Even the youngest visitors will have a great time: In the lovingly designed children’s pool area, they can splash around, play, and explore the water.
Relaxation and Recreation
After swimming or working out, the 75 °C textile sauna invites you to unwind and feel good. It’s also ideal for anyone who wants to try out the sauna for the first time.
During the summer months, the spacious outdoor area with numerous lounge chairs offers plenty of room for sunbathing and relaxing. Those who prefer to stay active can let off some steam with others on the beach volleyball court.
