Description
The mineral outdoor pool is located in a very scenic and quiet location below the vineyards of the Salzberg in the district of Affaltrach. It offers bathing fun for young and old, but also pure relaxation.
The Obersulm outdoor mineral pool, which was extensively renovated a few years ago, awaits bathers with a solar-heated water surface of 1,200 m². The large "Vario swimming pool" consists of a diving pool with a water depth of up to 3.80 m and the non-swimmers' pool with a minimum depth of 0.70 m. The pool is equipped with a 3-meter diving board. A 3-meter diving board, as well as a wide-wave water slide, provide additional swimming fun. Under the protection of a large awning, the kids can romp in the children's paddling pool with elephant slide.
Visitors to the outdoor pool will find space to relax on the park-like lawn with large shady trees. Children can satisfy their urge to move on the playground with rope climbing frame or let off steam on the ball field. A beach volleyball court provides additional fun.
The sanitary area and the changing rooms of the mineral outdoor pool have also been extensively renovated and are state of the art. New, separate family and handicapped showers are available. The tenant Dominik Sautter provides for the physical well-being of the bathing guests at the also modernized kiosk. Hot and cold dishes, as well as cakes and ice cream specialties are offered. A new feature is the additional outdoor bar for hikers and cyclists taking a break at the outdoor pool.
