Following its reopening on September 15, 2006, the "Stadtschwimmhalle" (Municipal Swimming Pool) in the center of Dessau shines once again with a blend of historic charm and modern elegance.
Extensive three-year renovation work on this historic facility has restored a true gem to the city of Dessau-Roßlau.
Following the refurbishment, the health-oriented pool complex offers visitors the chance to swim or use the sauna amidst Art Nouveau surroundings, all while enjoying the benefits of modern aquatic facility design.
Due to features such as whirlpool loungers, massage jets, and floor bubblers, the facility is not suitable for school swimming, club activities, or competitive sports swimming.
The complex is equipped with a separate pool for toddlers and a whirlpool.
Available for use by clubs, therapists, and health insurance providers; suitable for aqua jogging, therapeutic swimming, rehabilitation swimming, and public swimming.
