Turning old into new - an opportunity for health and fitness
Since 2016, an extraordinary, innovative and unique open-air health park has been closing the gap between the Kurpark and Quellgrund in Bad Frankenhausen. On the sun-drenched southern slope of the Kyffhäuser Mountains, the old outdoor brine pool was located on the same site, offering relaxation and recreation to thousands of locals and spa guests between 1938 and 1998. It could not be renovated and was demolished to make way for the new brine water vitality park.
State-of-the-art fitness equipment, play facilities, therapy facilities and, of course, the saltwater pool invite active people of all ages and health-conscious people who want to be active not only during the bathing season. Spacious sunbathing lawns, relaxation areas, changing rooms and excellent catering offer excellent conditions for sporting and therapeutic activities.
