Description
The season starts on 06.06.2026 and will probably end on 31.08.2026 (depending on the weather). For opening times, see the "Opening times" tab. During the vacations in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, the outdoor pool is open on weekdays from 10 am to 8 pm.
The Großenvörde outdoor pool was reopened in summer 2024 after extensive renovation work. It is a natural pool with extensive sunbathing areas and a small beach area for children. The water is treated using special filter systems.
A small kiosk with snacks and drinks provides refreshments.
Facilities:
25m sports pool with 4 lanes, 1m diving tower, water slide, starting blocks
Separate non-swimmers' pool with small beach area
Directly adjacent to the outdoor pool is a leisure area with climbing and play equipment for children, a Finnish track, a beach volleyball court, a tee-ball area and a basketball hoop.
