Waldschwimmbad Calden

Its idyllic location in the middle of the forest gave the heated Caldener outdoor pool its name. Extensively renovated in 1996 at a cost of 2.3 million, the pool features, among other things, a 23-meter-long slide, a wide water spout, massage jets, and underwater lighting. For those who prefer dry activities, there’s a table tennis table, a giant chess set, and a beach volleyball court available on the spacious sunbathing lawns. Refreshments are provided by the year-round dining area, which includes a restaurant, a kiosk, and outdoor terraces.
