The mainkryo° LOUNGE is Würzburg's first cryotherapy center and focuses on treatment with cold chambers at up to -110 degrees.

The word "cryo" comes from the Greek and means "cold". The use of cold for treatment is one of the oldest forms of therapy, the first evidence of cryotherapy can be dated back to the time of Hippocrates (460 BC to about 370 BC).
