Freibad Stadtilm

Idyllically situated on the Ilm, surrounded by trees and shrubs, the Stadtilm outdoor pool offers a pleasant way to cool off on hot days. The crystal-clear water has an average temperature of 21 - 23 °C in summer. The pool has a wave slide, two diving platforms (1 m and 3 m), a paddling pool, a snack bar, a children's playground, a bicycle charging station and comfortable sun loungers. The swimming pool with 4 lanes is 25 m long. The outdoor pool is located directly on the Ilmtal cycle path. It is approx. 5 minutes' walk from Stadtilm railroad station to the pool. The regular opening hours of the outdoor pool are from May 15 to September 15 from 10:00 to 19:00. Depending on the weather, opening hours may be restricted at short notice or the outdoor pool may be closed.
